My time and experience with Biz Kids spanned from Season 2 to Season 6 when I was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for “Outstanding Writing in a Children’s, Family Viewing Program.”

It’s no easy task to teach financial literacy in a fun format to pre and early teens, but I managed to have a blast doing it. I’ll upload some of the Emmy nominated material soon, but for now here’s a fun throwback to a Season 4 sketch I wrote called ‘Sasquatch’s Taxes.’

Biz Kids gave me invaluable experience developing ideas to pitch to producers in a group setting and then writing the ideas that were well received, two skills that are still sharp from my broadcast experience today.
